Phoenix scorpion season usually starts when the weather warms up in mid-late March, and lasts for about 9 months ending in late October to mid November
As temps start warming up in March, Scorpion Season begins and continues through April, May, June, July, August, September, till the end of October. Some years are warmer than others, scorpions start nesting when nighttime temperatures drop under 70 degrees.
Seeing scorpions during winter month is a sign of an infestation ready to explode as soon as it warms in the spring.

Despite the cooler temperatures we enjoy November through March, scorpions will starting coming out as soon as it warms up. March temperatures get as low as the 50’s. Usually we don’t see scorpions till weather is much warmer, but we’ve had several reports of scorpions found in the open this year during March.
